THERE is still time to sign up for Macmillan Cancer Support's Walk Wonders, which takes place in Flamborough this Sunday.
The Flamborough Ramble is a fun, family walk along the cliffs of Flamborough Head.

Bridget Rodgers, local Macmillan fund-raising manager, said: "So far over 30 people have registered for the Flamborough Ramble, but we still have some places availa
ble.

"This walk is an ideal way to take in some fresh air and beautiful scenery while spending a relaxing day with friends or family and raising money for Macmillan at the same time."

Nationally Macmillan aims to raise £700,000 through Walk Wonders. The money raised will help Macmillan provide practical, medical, emotional and financial help to people affected by cancer.

Bridget said: "Last year we gave out £133,824 in Macmillan Grants to 360 people in the North and East Yorkshire area, to help pay for things like fuel bills, travel costs or even a well earned break."

To register for the Flamborough Ramble call 0845 673 0708. If you sign up for the suggested £25 donation you will receive free Walk Wonders T-shirts. Individuals signing up are asked to donate £10 each.

To organise your own walk during May call 0845 6021490 for help and to register.

Walkers can also visit www.macmillan.org,uk/walkwonders for all enquiries.
