THIS year's Bridlington Arts Festival is now underway and looks set to be bigger and better than ever, with a host of artists and performers from home and abroad coming to the town to showcase their talent.
There is something for everyone – poetry, drama, music, dance and art plus a two-day street festival on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26.
Matthew Hogg, festival project manager, said: "We have a great range of arts going on through out the festival.
"If you don't think arts is your thing then think again because we have all sorts of music, DJs, street performers, beach sculptures, street dancers, as well as actors, painters and poets a really varied programme – so come down, enjoy and get involved
"We also have the privilege of being the first to get into the newly refurbished Spa.
"So don't miss your chance to come to one or all of the performances there so you can get a preview of what they've done to the place as well as see some great performances"
Matthew wants to get local people involved and anyone interested in running an event should contact him on 07940 379051.
