CLAIRE Louise Myette and Anthony Alexander Jackson were married at the council chamber, Bridlington Town Hall on Saturday, May 17.
The bride is the daughter and only child of George Myette, of Calgary, Canada, and Linda Bailey, of Easton Road, Bridlington, and the bridegroom is the only son and middle child of Allegra Dodds, of West Street, Bridlington.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory chiffon and imperial satin designer gown and dendrobium orchids in her hair.

She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses, calla lilies and dendrobium orchids.

Witnesses were Paul Woolley and Guy Waldron.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Ayia Napa, Cyprus and are to live in Bridlington.

The bride is assistant manager for East Yorkshire Housing Association Ltd and the bridegroom is a welder fabricator for Idacom Steel.

The couple first met on a night out in 1994 and then again in 2006 when Claire returned from Canada.

The couple are the proud parents of Alexis Leia Jackson, born November 4 2007.
