CARNIVAL fever hit Martongate School at the weekend as it held a summer gala.
Pupils dressed in carnival costumes, complete with head dresses and banners, paraded round the school to music.
Other highlights included beat the goalie, who was dressed as Bob Marley, limbo dancing, gymnastic display and the usual stalls, tombola and raffle with the top prize being a flat screen television.
More than £1,200 was raised for school funds and it was said to be a fantastic day.
