WOMEN in Bridlington are doing their stretches in preparation for this Sunday's Cancer Research UK's Race For Life.
Thousands of women will come together on the cliff top at Sewerby for the town's third Race For Life.

The race kicks off at 11am but arrive beforehand to take part in the warm up and soak up the atmosphere of the day.

Women can walk, jog or run
the 5km route and 2,500 people are expected to take part raising £140,000 for cancer research.

The money will help to find better ways of treating, diagnosing and preventing cancer.

There is still time to take part visit www.raceforlife.org/northeast or phone 08705 134314.

You can also support the event by buying buns and crispies from the Stirling Castle in Queen Street, Bridlington.

So far assistant manager Trish Robinson, who plans to dress up in a medieval costume, has raised around £100 through the sale of buns and crispies from behind the bar and hopes to sell more over the next couple of days.
