After last week’s game at Twickenham, and the euphoria afterwards, no disrespect to Knottingley but Saturday’s game seemed as if we were playing in an allotment.
Following a great weekend at Twickenham, Bridlington found themselves back to work as normal, with a trip to Knottingley, who were hoping for a win or at least two bonus points, to move above Barnsley and off bottom position.

The disappointment of defeat was overtaken by the pride in being the first Bridlington team to play at Twickenham.
