Pitch and putt now open
THE pitch and putt golf course and putting green at Sewerby Hall and Gardens near Bridlington has reopened for the season.
The pitch and putt golf course has been re-designed and made into a new 10-hole course. Facility manager, Martin Burnhill said: "Due to health and safety concerns we have had to take out the last two holes of the original 12 hole course. The course has been re-designed into a 10-hole course, which will be just as challenging as the old one. We have altered the golf admissions to reflect this change and I am sure visitors will enjoy the new course."
The golf will be open 9am-5pm Saturday and Sunday with last clubs issued at 3.30pm and 10am-5pm weekdays with last clubs at 3.30pm.
From tomorrow there will be a two-tier gold admission system to reflect their estate charging periods
The 18-hole putting green will remain the same and charges are 1.30 for adults and 70p for children (five-15 years).
