Fifteen bouts on boxing bill at Spa

BRIDLINGTON Amateur Boxing Club present their first show of the new season at the Spa tomorrow. (Friday)

The show will feature up to 14 Bridlington boxers including Billy Gibson, 11, Lewis Spaven, 11, Kier Herrgesell, 14, Aaron Boyes, 14, Zac Stabler, 14, Liam Bowtell, 15, Darren Boyes, 16, Tom Wray, 18, Shane Green, 19, Luke Harper, 20, Mitchell Wedge, 20 and Paul Dean, 23.

Also boxing in the show and making their debuts will be Kirk Crimlisk, 11 and Tom Hebden, 14.

Unfortunately the club’s only female boxer Charlotte Jarvis will be unable to compete on the event due to her opponent pulling out and no replacement being available.

There will be opponents travelling from Hull and Scarborough clubs to compete, but some will be coming from as far afield as Middlesbrough, Burnley and Derby.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for under 11s. They are available from the Spa box office or you can buy them on the door on the night.

Doors will open at 7.30pm with the boxing hoping to start shortly after 8pm.
