Excellent experience for trio
Yasmin Brown, Grace Dennis and Tom King
THE last two weekends were busy days for Bridlington Swimming Club members.
Grace Dennis,Tom King and Yasmin Brown went to Sheffield for the first long course meet of the season.
There were over 7,000 entries of which 3,000 were rejected.
The Bridlington swimmers had been invited through Hull where they do their extended training.
What a fantastic weekend it proved to be and a brilliant opportunity for our swimmers to see the best of British in action.
The event was clinically organised and coaches and swimmers were well looked after.
The prestigious event had elite swimmers in all age groups using the meet to gauge times for Olympic preparation and team GB positions.
WHILE one BSC group were in Sheffield Danielle Coverdale, Sophie Holdsworth and William, Rose and Edward Dennis were in Harrogate for the Janus A&B meet.
All swimmers acquitted themselves well swimming in their own age group.
William gained an A1 in 100m Fly, Danielle B1 400m Freestyle, Sophie B1 50m Freestyle. Rose and Sophie gained B2 medals.
