The latest winners of the Bridlington Sports Centre Swim Star awards have been given their certificates.
The scheme has been running all year to honour children who have made great progress, or shown outstanding effort in the pool, during their weekly swimming lessons.
In the latest set of awards, the gold prize went to Amelia Cammiss.
Her teacher Leanne Connelly said: “Amelia has been a pleasure to teach, she has grown in confidence and her strokes are fantastic.
“She is also able to swim a full 25 metres back stroke keeping her technique correct for the whole length.”
Layla Gascoigne was given the silver award. Teacher Geoff Edmond said: “Layla has come into grade three and has listened and worked hard on all the tasks she has been set.
“Her strokes have improved a lot.”
Bronze went to Gregory Baines whose teacher Abbiee Scott-Cook said: “Gregory has done nothing but try extremely hard this term.
“He has tried so well on improving his confidence in the water and with others.”
Other nominees were Frankie McGuire, put forward by Jennie Haley, and Liam Tibbett, who impressed his teacher Sharon Treadwell.
The next course of swimming lessons starts on October 12, and bookings are being taken now.
The centre is also running crash courses throught half term for grades one, two, three and four. To book, call Bridlington Sports Centre on 678077.
