Bridlington U10 boys team won promotion to Yorkshire League Division One after picking up three wins and two draws at Leeds on Sunday.

They beat Airedale 1-0 with Harvey Asquith scoring the goal. The next match against Doncaster saw Thomas Shephard score twice to secure a 2-0 win. Wakefield proved to be harder opposition and despite a goal from Toby Gee the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The match against York was well balanced with both teams keeping a clean sheet. The final game against Ben Rhydding once again saw Bridlington gain the upper hand with Josh Harvey scoring the goal that clinched a 1-0 win.

Bridlington and York gained promotion to Division One, which for a small club like Bridlington is a credit to the standard of play from the boys.
