The monthly medal at Bridlington Links saw excellent playing conditions, which led to some good scoring.
Division One was a real battle between Alex Duniec and Rich Shippey who both shot brilliant 67s. Duniec won by way of a great back nine of 39 gross, despite starting the 10th with a double bogey.
His highlight was without question three consecutive birdies on the 13th, 14th and 15th holes.
Shippey, by contrast, did his scoring on the front nine with a fantastic one-under gross score.
The best score of the day came from the third division with Dave Smith carding a six-under-par 66, the first time he had scored under 90 in a competition.
The improving Maurice Joselyn was only a shot behind with a fine 67 and will consider himself unlucky as on most days he would have done enough to win.
The second division was won by Shaun Bradley with a more modest, but still very good, round of 70.
Also securing top three finishes were Kev Wadsworth, third in Division One with a 72, Mal Eades and Paul Martin who finished behind Bradley with 72s, and Kev Trower in Division Three.
