FRIDAY saw another good entertaining evening for Bridlington Swimming Club as coach Margaret Greenall organised a sprint evening.

It has given the coaches a benchmark for selection for galas in the coming season.

Each swimmer first tackled 25m of each of the four strokes. As there was time left, they then went on to 50m of each stroke.

All the races were eagerly competed and every swimmer got at least one personal best time.

Lewis Hebden improved seven of his PBs, some dramatically, and Brandon Haigh gained new times in seven of the eight events.

Millie Benson had new times in all eigth races.

Sharon Treadwell, starter and judge, commented on the excellent starts with no disqualifications.Thank you to all adults who helped.
