November came to a close with another good turnout at Sewerby for the weekly Parkrun.
There was a closely run dual to be the first club member to finish and, on this occasion, it was Martin Smith.
He finished in sixth place in a time of 19:14, which was 11 seconds in front of Peter Gulc, who was seventh in 19:25.
Regular Sewerby runner, Kevin Sissons, was next home (17) in 21:52.
Father and son Simon and Ashley Porter are rapidly approaching their 100th Parkrun, with Saturday being the 98th appearance for both of them. Ashley was 20th in 22:12 and Simon was 28th in 24:22.
Bob Eyre was the first to finish in the VM65 category with a time of 24:56.
Other club members taking part were: Adam Fairest (39) 25:37, Stuart Atkinson (42) 26:24, Zoe Williams (45) 27:12, Ben Smith (51) 28:11 and Kirsten Porter (52) 28:12.
It was still dark when Andy Godfrey left home to try out the York Parkrun and there was a stiff wind blowing across the Knavesmire course, which he completed in 30:57.
