Budding golfers from 10 schools showed their skills at a Tri-Golf competition in Bridlington, where Martongate were crowned the winners.
Each team was made up of five boys and five girls who had to complete eight golf activities, which tested skills such as putting and chipping.
Organiser Ivan Oliver, who coaches in a number of local schools, said: “All the pupils participating were absolutely fantastic and the event was by far the best yet.
“All the children listened, were engaged and gave their very best.
“It was great to see so many young and skillful golfers.
“I am always very keen to support schools who wish to give their pupils the opportunity to learn, play and develop the game of golf.”
Schools with the highest scores achieved at any of the East Riding qualifying events will represent the county at the Humberside School Games finals in Hull in July.
