Gymnastics girls win Yorkshire East titles

Bridlington Gymnastic Club members travelled to the Yorkshire East Individual Floor and Vault Competition

Level 7 results:

Under 9: Leah Colman and Elisabeth Blackford 21st and 31st places - both in their first competition they performed with great credit in a very large age group with over 30 gymnasts.

Mia Stockdale: 14th overall, Jodie Beasley: 25th overall

Ruby Simpson: 3rd overall, missing out on piece medals but two great performances.

Lily Voase: 1st floor 2nd vault - two great performances were enough to give her the overall title of Yorkshire East Floor and Vault Champion for 2013. This means both Voase and Simpson now move up to Level 6 next year.

Under 10: Leah Haley: 8th overall

Under 11: Natasha Clifton: 14th overall - also in her first competition

11/12: Louise Blackburn: 12th overall - in her first comp

13+: Chelsea Haley: 5th overall

Level 6

Under 11: Amy Conroy: 2nd on vault - in her first Level 6 comp

Under 12: Cerys Jones: 12th overall

Annabel Kershaw: 1st vault and 3rd overall

Sammie Kershaw: 3rd vault and 3rd floor and 2nd overall

Two great performances from both girls meant they received moving up ribbons to Level 5 next year.

13+: AmyJean Barber: joint 7th overall, Leah Jones: joint 7th overall

Alex Metcalf: 3rd vault 11th overall

Alex Kynman: 1st vault 2nd overall

Lianne Holdsworth: joint 1st vault and 3rd floor - giving her the title of Yorkshire East Floor and Vault Champion 2013.

Both Holdsworth and Kynman received moving up ribbons to Level 5 next year

Level 5: Lillie-Mae Emmerson: 1st vault and 2nd overall - received a moving up ribbon to Level 4 next year.
