There is just a month to go until the second Bridlington Free Press Open Competition.
The event will again be held at Flamborough Head Golf Club, on Saturday 20 July, and there are still spaces available for members of all courses in the area.
The competition is open to men and women this year, with tee times available from 8am. Entry is £18, which includes the twos club, or£15 for Flamborough club members.
Free Press sports editor John Edwards said: “Last year’s event was an excellent day, blessed by wonderful weather, and it attracted players from all over Yorkshire.
“It would be greta to make the 2013 competition bigger and better, and I’d like to see more players from our other local clubs this time around.”
There will be prizes down to 15th place, with the winner receiving the Bridlington Free Press trophy, claimed last year by teenager Stephen Hirst.
To book, call the club on 850333 or email email@example.com
Proceeds from the event will be shared between the Free Press 150 Fund, which gives donations to local sports clubs and promising individuals, and Flamborough Head’s junior section.
