BRIDLINGTON Amateur Boxing Club is preparing to hold its first show in Hornsea next month.

The evening at the Floral Hall will feature a number of Bridlington youngsters, some of whom go to Hornsea School, as well as Louis Claridge a local lad who boxes for the St Paul’s club in Hull.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for under 11s and are available from Graham Hebden on 07967 484543, or online at www.hornseagolocal.co.uk.

The show is on Friday, May 18 at 7.30pm.

Meanwhile, the Bridlington club would like to say a big thank you to Bob Stabler and Sons Skip Hire for once again sponsoring the club, ensuring the boxers and coaches have all got team kits and tracksuits as well as the neccesary equipment within the gym.

This is the second year running that the company has sponsored the club and they are a valuable partner in helping keep the youngster of Bridlington off the streets and interested in sport.

Head coach Damien Grant said: “The members of the club are extremley grateful to Stablers for their contribution.

“The boxers love the tracksuits and polo shirts that they provide and wear them with pride.”
