Bridlington Town head to the KC Stadium with virtually a full squad to choose from for next Wednesday’s East Riding Senior Cup final.
The Seasiders will be the underdogs against North Ferriby United, who have a play-off final on Saturday to try to claim a place in the Conference.
Town lifted the trophy last May and Gary Allanson has confirmed he only has four players unavailable as his side try to retain the cup.
Striker Brett Agnew is cup-tied, and long-term injury victims Ash Allanson, Craig Hogg and Lewis Clarkson are all out, although none have been able to feature regularly this season.
Allanson said: “Injuries to Tom Fleming and Andy Norfolk are clearing up nicely so they should be near to full fitness, we have training sessions booked as we want to be prepared as much as possible and not leave any stone unturned as we want to hold on to the cup.”
Kick-off at Hull City’s stadium is at 7pm, and before then, Town are holding their end-of-season awards night at the clubhouse at Queensgate on Friday evening.
“We will let our hair down and have a good time with hopefully a good turnout from our supporters, then we will continue our preparations and get ourselves ready for the final,” said Allanson.
