Bridlington Town have announced plans to run a third team during the 2016/17 season.
After becoming champions of the East Riding County League Premier Division, the club’s reserves have been promoted to the Humber Premier League Division One.
But because the facilities at the East Riding College do not meet the requirements of the league, the second string will play their home games at Hutton Cranswick next season, with the intention of moving to Queensgate for the following campaign.
The Humber Premier League season will start on Saturday, August 13.
The introduction of Bridlington Town Thirds means that the club will retain a team in the County League and, like the reserve side last season, they will be playing their home games at the East Riding College when their season starts in September.
The natural progression of the Bridlington Town junior team will see them playing in the Under 11 section of the Hull Boys Sunday League next season.
With the number of players per side rising from seven to nine and the size of the pitch increasing in this age group, the team will be playing its home fixtures at Hilderthorpe Primary School with the games kicking off at 10:30am.
Meanwhile, season tickets for the first team will remain at 2015/16 levels.
They are priced at £100 for adults, £50 for concessions and £30 for under 16s.
Matchday admission prices have also been frozen at £6 adults and £3 for concessions.
The club is also looking for businesses and individals to sponsor players for the forthcoming season.
