Bridlington Town made it a hat-trick of opening day wins against Staveley Miners Welfare, with a 2-0 win at the Derbyshire side.
Having kicked off their two previous campaigns by beating Staveley, the Seasiders repeated the trick at Inkersall Road on Saturday.
New signing Lewis Clarkson needed only seven minutes to open his account, and Joel Sutton added a second early in the second half.
Town’s first home game is on Tuesday night against Garforth Town, who began their season with a 3-2 win over Rainworth Miners Welfare.
NCEL favourites Tadcaster Albion and Worksop Town both scored six, as they brushed aside Maltby Main and Athersley Recreation, but another fancied side Cleethorpes Town suffered a surprise 1-0 home defeat to Nostell Miners Welfare.
