Bridlington Rangers Tigers U15 2

Hornsea Town U15 7

Hull Boys Sunday Football League

TIGERS were eager to compete after another break due to the weather and were hoping to improve on previous results.

Hornsea have always had a number of stand out players making them a difficult side to compete against.

Tigers started the game strongly and took the lead after three minutes when Sean Kelly connected with a through ball into the penalty area.

Hornsea had several chances as the half progressed, managing to score two before the break.

The first half had been a close fought competition with Tigers still well in the game.

In the second half, although Tigers kept competing they allowed Hornsea to get through on goal too often and the goals kept coming.

There could have been more but as in the first half they seemed unable to consistently hit the target.

Callum Turner for Tigers did manage to get his name on the score sheet after a rebounded ball was cleanly hit past the Hornsea keeper.

Man of the match: Cory Walker.

Team: Morland, Beasley, Holdsworth, Lawton, Scaife, Stainforth, Hannon, Walker, Dean, Byram, Webb, Kelly, Turner, Sperry, Brainbridge.
