Sports Club land tie against Tigers

BRIDLINGTON Sports Club have landed a plum tie in the second round of the East Riding Senior Cup.

The Humber Premier League side, who reached the semi-finals of last season’s competition, have been paired with Hull City.

Player manager Tom Gregory said: “This will be the first time that the two clubs have met in a competitive match and the whole club are looking forward to the fixture.

“We hope that the town will get behind us and that we can get a good level of support.”

The match will be played on Saturday, November 10, at Dukes Park, kicking off at 2pm. Gates will open at 1.15pm with admission £2 for adults, £1 for concessions and free for members.

The Senior Cup holders Bridlington Town are at home to Sculcoates Amateurs in round two.
