PACKING bags at Morrisons helped Bridlington Rangers Rhinos raise money for a cause which has helped one of their players to recover from a serious illness.

Bradley Marshall, who was 10 at the weekend and goes to Burlington Junior School, was diagnosed with a spinal tumour last year and after a major operation is now back playing for the under 10s team.

He and his team-mates wanted to do something to help Leeds Childrens Hospital’s new cancer research laboratory.

So they headed to the supermarket and their bag-packing efforts brought in £503.26, which they presented to Trish Thompson, Bradley’s specialist Macmillan Nurse.
