Former Manchester United and England star Lee Sharpe was the special guest as Burlington Jackdaws celebrated their 10th anniversary.
A special dinner was held at the Blue Bell Hotel in Burton Agnes and club director Chris Kirkham said: “It was a fantastic evening to launch the 10th season for the club, who will now play back in the Hull Boys Sunday League after a few seasons away.
“Lee Sharpe told stories from his Manchester United and Leeds days, along with his reality TV days. He finished with the Eric Cantona kung-fu kick story from the players’ point of view, which was met with a great response from the 80 guests.
“Bruce Harding compered the evening, which brought laughter and enjoyment to the celebrations.”
Music came from local band Capital Eye and a presentation was made to Kirkham by the Jackdaws teams for a decade of dedication.
