Bridlington Town have completed their pre-season transfer business by snapping up Louis Kirk.

The midfielder had been involved in a number of the Seasiders’ friendlies, and finally put pen to paper after Saturday’s impressive 2-1 win over North Ferriby United.

Town manager Gary Allanson said the former Barton Town player would ‘probably’ be their final signing.

“He will be a great acquisition for us,” said Allanson. “We have a really strong squad now and it is just a case of trying to keep all the players happy and giving them game time as much as possible, hopefully the players will stick with us and realise what a chance we have of having a successful season.

“The new players are now starting to gel and are getting used to each other and they are getting fitter with every session.”
