Bridlington Town will be looking to complete a quickfire double over Clipstone tomorrow.
Having beaten the Mansfield-based side at the start of January, the return fixture will be played at Queensgate on Saturday (3pm).
The Seasiders are on a 10-match unbeaten run, and one of the highlights was their hard-fought 1-0 win in Nottinghamshire two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the date for Town’s League Cup third round clash against Brigg Town has been moved again.
The tie was postponed last Tuesday because the pitch was waterlogged, and originaly rescheduled for February 2. But Scarborough Athletic are home on that date, so the cup game will be played on February 16.
Elsewhere, all eyes will be on the weather forecast, with a heavy frost predicted, and a lot of rain having fallen during the week.
All local matches were called off last week, but if conditions allow, Bridlington Sports Club host Humber Premier League leaders Wawne United and Bridlington Town Reserves face North Cave at East Riding College in the County League.
The Driffield League fixtures are: Premier Division: Burton Agnes v Forester Athletic 1sts, Forester Athletic 2nds v Flamborough 1sts, Mermaid Utd Old Boys v Bridlington Excelsior, Stirling Wanderers v Bridlington Rovers
Division One: Bridlington Snooker Centre v Nafferton United, Bridlington Sports Club Res v Crown, Driffield Star v Full Measure, Flamborough 2nds v Coachman FC.
