THEY have been knocking spots off the opposition for the last two seasons. And Bridlington Town’s 2011/12 shirt reflects that.
The Seasiders have unveiled their kit for next season and they hope fans will go dotty for it.
The traditional red and white colours remain, but instead of this season’s Arsenal-style shirt, next year Town’s look will be more like something from the circus.
Chairman Peter Smurthwaite told the Free Press: “We thought today, April 1, was the ideal day to give the Queensgate fans their first look at our polka dot kit.
“I think we will be the first club in the country to have such a radical and eye-catching design. We are just waiting to see if we can get Clearasil to sponsor it.”
