Big freeze strikes again

NO SURPRISES that the weekend’s sporting fixtures in Bridlington were wiped out again.

This was the scene at Dukes Park on Saturday afternoon, when Bridlington Mariners should have been playing Pocklington.

The first team’s trip to Keighley was cancelled for the second week running, and Bridlington Town’s match at Armthorpe Welfare was called off well in advance.

But you’ll still find 26 different sports in this Thursday’s Free Press.
