Craig Hogg played the full ninety minutes to dispel injury fears after Saturday’s dramatic end to the game against Hull City, but the limelight went to Frickley striker Gavin Allott who scored a first half hat trick. The first two were the result of sloppy defending but his third was well taken. Frickley, a strong, physical side, were a shade better than Town whose best performance came from midfielder Chris Batchelor. Town have an extra pre-season fixture tonight (Thursday) with a game against their reserve team, kick-off 7-30pm.

Bridlington Town: Fraser (sub), Aziz (sub), Rhodes, Logan (sub), Jenkinson (sub), Cook (sub), Batchelor, Fleming (c), Hogg, Phillips, Greening (sub).

Unused Substitutes: Wray, Wheeldon.
