Bridlington Town welcome Scarborough Athletic and Hull City to Queensgate to round off their pre-season schedule.
Having seen his team remain unbeaten in their friendlies, Seasiders manager Gary Allanson is certain the final two opponents will provide the toughest test for his new-look squad.
He said: “We have two games left, firstly against Scarborough who have assembled a very good, strong squad and will definitely be pushing for promotion this season.
“Rudy Funk has done a terrific job since taking over and built a very successful team on the pitch but also has a very strong team off the pitch.
“They play the game the right way and like to play entertaining, attacking football with some fantastic attacking players, but also have a very good spine to the team and are difficult to break down.
“This will be a really difficult game for us and because of it being pre-season, lots of players are away on holidays as most of our players are teachers or work in the manufacturing industry where they have set shut-downs, so this is the only time where they can get their family holidays.
“Our last pre-season game is against an Hull City XI which will probably be the young, future stars of the club and maybe some first team fringe players.
“It is always a privilege to get a professional club to come, but Hull City are an established Premier League club now, FA Cup finalists and playing in Europe so should be a fantastic show case game for us and something we should look forward to, players, staff and supporters alike.”
The Scarborough Athletic match kicks off at 3pm on Saturday, while Hull City arrive on Tuesday night, kick off 7.30pm. Admission is £6 and £3 for both games.
