Bridlington hosted top of the table Hull Zingari and after winning the toss, the home team chose to bat first.

Against some excellent swing bowling, they were reduced to 22/5 by Matt Wilkinson (3/26) and Hamson (2/27) with only Casey Rudd (14) making double figures.

The Leeson brothers then showed some application adding 50 for the sixth wicket but after Simon went for 29 and then Andrew for 25, the lower order were cleaned up by Matt Bunn.

He claimed 4-17 as Brid were skitted out for 97.

Hull Zingari set about the chase with aggressive intent and raced to the victory target in 15.1 overs without losing a wicket.

The league’s top scorer Jack Storey, who has made five centuries this season and averages 85, finished 64 not out and was well supported by Guy Martinson who was unbeaten on 30.
