Bridlington/Millau Petanque Club held their annual ladies' and men's singles competition on Saturday.
Six ladies made leisurely play of their five games with three of them winning four of them.

However, on aggregate Madge Jordan was the outright winner, with Christine Cann placed second and Kath Smith third.

The ladies thank Arnold’s Fisheries, in Queen Street, for their sponsorship.

Seven men went head to head for the trophy

The final was between Terry Davies and Maurice Fideo and it was a very good match with Terry taking the trophy.

Aled Jones was in third place.

Sponsorship came from Batchelor's Furniture Store, in Quay Road, to whom the club are very grateful.

Our next event is a 12-hour sponsored petanque on Thursday, July 3, starting at 8am.
