Hornsea Leisure Leagues
Congratulations to Surreal Madrid, who have taken the title with a game to go following a 4-1 cruise over Dynamo Hornsea, while nearest challengers Promenade Allstars suffered a crucial defeat in a nine goal thriller against Scunners to see their chances ended.
It was a bad day for the leading sides as Dads Army look like they will have to settle for third after they suffered a 2-1 loss against Likely Lads.
Two other sides smacked in four goals as there were plenty of end of season strikes. Pike N Terry edged Stingers by the odd goal in seven, with Spartans also getting in on the action and beating strugglers Hornsea Veterans 4-2.
Veterans are now bottom of the table after Atwick Allstars picked up a rare win to climb off the basement, beating mid table The Outlaws 5-3.
