It was a good start for Bridlington Mixed with wins for all three teams in cold and windy conditions and the light fading early.
Mixed B were at Hutton Cranswick using only two courts, but with the help of the floodlights were able to finish the match winning 2 of the 3 tie-breaks making for a close match 59 games to 54.
It was close games for the ladies too with 3 tie brea
ks for the B team and 1 for the C sadly the majority going against. Tough games for Sara Green and Julie Christlow who played their first matches for the club and a hard start for Jo Scurl who played in a new partnership with Mhari Meldrum in her return to team tennis after a few years out.
Juan Carlos Lino and Sven Katz played well for the mens C team managing a hat-trick with their new partnership.
