Tuesday, June 16 saw the gentlemen members extending an invitation to the ladies section for partners in the Edgington Trophy – a mixed foursome Stableford competition.

Winners of the trophy were Kath & Rich Leeson with 38pts with Shirley & Eric Hall in second place with 33pts. Third and fourth respectively were Mary Sunley & Dave Copley, 33pts and Hilary Jewitt & Ray Trufit with 33pts.

Sunday morning the gentlemen played for the Wheelhouse Trophy which was a 4 BBBB Stableford competition.

The major difference with the competition was that an existing 4 ball team had to separate into 2 pairs and the pairs were then mixed randomly to ensure different playing partner pairs. Following completion of the round the scores of the original team pairs were then aggregated.
