With many local drivers electing to race in the stockhatch nationals in Derbyshire, it was left to Bridlington's Tom Thompson to drive for the town's pride at the Scarborough Autograss club at Hunmanby.
With some very experienced talent in the Class 2s, Tom was always going to have to work hard for any glory.

To his credit Tom rolled his sleeeves up and took the fight to them, narrowly missing out on glory after a coming together with Rob Farrow while holding a strong position in the final.

With the next meeting on Saturday and Sunday, a Dash For Cash two-day event, there will be a very strong field and a promise of high octane entertainment not to be missed.
