A FORMER Flamborough woman has been appointed a non-executive director of a mental health trust.
Michelle Scott, originally from Sheffield, moved to Flamborough in 2000 and worked in audit at the Scarborough Building Society whilst also tutoring in accountancy at East Riding College.

She moved to South Cave in 2005 and now does the accounts for Ellerker Parish Council.

Mrs Scott's appointment is with the Humber Mental Health Teaching NHS Trust, which provides mental health, learning disability and addictions services in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

It is responsible for a number of services in Bridlington, including the hospital's Buckrose and Waters ward for patients with mental health issues. As a non-executive director Mrs Scott, a qualified accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, will receive £5,800 a year.
