X-FACTOR winner Alexandra Burke wowed a 1,500-plus sell-out audience at Bridlington Spa.
The 22-year-old singing superstar left the packed crowd screaming and cheering for more when she performed at the venue last Saturday night.
Four male dancers, two female backing singers and a four-piece band helped Alex deliver a stunning spectacle which delighted the audience of all ages.
The chart-topper, who has had three number one singles and a number one album since she hit the big time on the top TV talent show, said she was delighted to be in Bridlington as part of her first UK All Night Long tour.
She belted out her catchy tunes Bad Boys and Broken Heels and enraptured the audience with a superb performance of her first record-breaking single Hallelujah dressed in a white gown adorned with feathers.
She dedicated one of her songs to members of her family who were watching her at the Spa and interacted with the crowd regularly.
The songstress, who dueted with Beyonce on her way to X Factor glory, also performed a medley of Destiny’s Child hits as a tribute to the girl band who are her inspiration.
From the minute she stepped on to the stage in a glitzy ticker-tape dress to her impressive high-energy exit wearing a glittering leotard, she had her fans eating out of the palm of her hands.
And Alexandra obviously enjoyed herself as much as her adoring audience as she later tweeted on her Twitter page: “I mean seriously Bridlington ... my band, my dancers and I thank you all dearly for an amazing vibe tonight!
“We are all on cloud nine!
“Bridlington ... you guys know how to go all night long!”
Coun Jane Evison, East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s cabinet portfolio holder for cultural services, housing and public protection, said: “The council is delighted by the sell-out Alexandra Burke concert over the weekend.
“Alexandra is a young and exciting performer and, as a former X Factor winner, was a great act for The Spa Bridlington to showcase.
“From the feedback received from fans of all ages who attended the concert, it was a fantastic night and we hope that everyone who came enjoyed the event.”
