A woman accused of unlawful possession of five knives and making threats to people in Southback Lane, Bridlington, has appeared for the first time in Hull Crown Court.

Donna Traves, 41, is accused of unlawful possession of five kitchen knives in a public place and threatening unlawful violence to two named people on July 15.

Traves of Trinity Road, Bridlington, appeared at Hull Crown Court on August 14 and indicated she would be pleading not guilty.

Traves said she was not legally represented and affected by the solicitors’ legal action. Judge Bury told Traves nothing would happened straight away. “You need to be back before the court on October 23 for a plea hearing,” said Judge Bury.
