STAFF at a supermarket entertained customers and raised money for charity with a day of leg waxing.
Carly Charman and Jackie Dixon, of Le Visage salon, High Street, Old Town, Bridlington waxed the legs of 30 Tesco staff at the Station Approach store, Bridlington, on Friday 28 September.
This year Tesco are aiming to raise £10,877 for Cancer Research UK and collected £500 through the waxing session, which ran from 9am to 4.30pm.
Anna-Marie Jenkinson, community champion at Tesco Bridlington, said: “It was very entertaining, I loved going to work on Friday, until it was my turn.
“Thanks to everyone who donated and I would like to thank all the staff for all their help.”
Tesco Bridlington have raised £6,700 so far for the cancer charity.
Tesco will also run a charity quiz evening at the Greyhound pub, Promenade, Bridlington, on Tuesday 23 October to help raise funds.
