VIDEO: Remembrance Sunday in Bridlington

Hundreds of people descended on Bridlington this Sunday to mark the centenary of World War One, and to honour the servicemen and women who lost their lives in conflicts throughout the world.

A parade left Station Approach at 10.20am and marched to the Bridlington War Memorial where a service was held and a two minutes silence was observed.

The parade then continued down Prospect Street before finishing on King Street.

As well as marking the centenary of World War One, this year also marks the 70th anniversary of the D Day Landings.
