VIDEO: Flamborough Boxing Day dip

Intrepid Flamborough residents were undeterred by the cold when they took to the sea for the village’s annual Boxing Day dip.

Dippers took to the sea wearing Hawaiian themed fancy dress outfits at 10.30am on Boxing Day and were cheered on by spectators.

This year organisers celebrated the event’s sixth anniversary, and since the first dip in 2009 the event has raised much needed funds for Flamborough Pre-School.

The event was also supported by Flamborough’s Longsword Dancers who performed outside the Rose and Crown pub in High Street at 1pm.
