A Bridlington model railway club held a successful open day over the weekend to show off a number of their layouts.
Barmates, who meet every Tuesday at Bridlington Railway Station and once a month at the Coachman on Hilderthorpe Road, had N gauge, O gauge and OO gauge layouts available for people to see on Saturday, at the railway station.
David Harrison, secretary of Barmates, said: “It was very busy, probably more so than we expected, and we had lots of people inquiring about the layouts and how they work.
“We had a good number of people also asking about membership which is encouraging.”
Anyone wanting to get involved can go along to Bridlington Railway Station on Tuesdays from 7pm, or on the second Tuesday of the month at the Coachman from 7.30pm.
