Bridlington businesses were the toast of the annual Bridlington and Yorkshire Coast Business Awards scooping a top prize in five categories.
Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery was awarded Business of the Year, while Clare Steele, of Park Rose Birds of Prey and Animal Park won the Business Person of the Year Award.
Wold Top also took the Green Business of the Year accolade, with the Fisheries Business of the Year going to Holderness Fishing Industries Group. Lissett-based CB Solutions won in the Medium/Large Business of the Year category.
Other winners were: Staal Smokehouse for best Start Up Enterprise, HERIB for best Social Enterprise, SG Solutions for Small Business, Logan Teleflex for Best Training, Williams’ Farm Kitchen for Best Retailer, All Seasons Guest House at Filey won Tourism and Hospitality Business of the Year and Whitby Fishing Industry Training School won Business Innovation of the year.
Over 500 people from the East Yorkshire business world attended the awards night held in The Spa Bridlington’s Royal Hall.
