TWO men have been arrested suspected of using counterfeit bank notes in Bridlington, and police are appealing for anyonw who may have been a victim of crime to come forward.
On Sunday June 3, police were called following a report of two men entering a store on Harbour Road in Bridlington and attempting to purchase small items with what appeared to be a fraudulent £20 note.
Police conducted a search of the area and arrested a 35-year-old man and a 22-year-old man in connection with the offence. Both men have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Officers investigating the incident believe there may be other local businesses in the Bridlington area, who could have been targeted - are now appealing for those people to contact them.
