Cyclist collides with car in Bridlington

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured this morning.

The incident took place at 8.30am, just hours before the set-off of the Tour de Yorkshire in Bridlington.

A spokesperson for the Force said: “A man on a cycle was riding towards the direction of Pets At Home and after negotiating the roundabout he collided with the rear of a green Vauxhall Astra Estate.

“The cyclist sustained minor injuries to his left arm.

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision on 101 quoting log 120 of Friday May 15.”
