TWO women needed hospital treatment after a two car collision on a roundabout.

It happened just before 2pm on Monday at Scarborough Road roundabout when a silver Vauxhall Astra was travelling from Scarborough Road towards Well Lane when a collision occurred with a red Vauxhall Astra heading from Market Place towards Marton Road.

A 22-year-old Bridlington woman in the silver Astra received minor whiplash injuries and was treated at Scarborough Hospital. A female front seat passenger is the red Astra, also from Bridlington, was taken to Bridlington hospital with minor injuries. Both were released after treatment.
