Tour de Yorkshire travel and transport information

Buses run by East Yorkshire Motor Services in the Beverley area between 9am and 12.30pm tomorrow (29 April) are subject to significant changes as Beverley town centre is closed.

Many bus services have been changed, especially the X46 route.

For full details please see the EYMS website: https://www.eyms.co.uk/bus-services/service-information-item?id=1327#disruptionbev

The race starts in Beverley at noon, so some bus services to/from and within the town will have to divert. Buses into Beverley are expected to be busier than normal as people travel to see the start of the race, so you may want to allow extra time for your journey in travelling on buses into Beverley on this day.

General information for services going through Beverley: Some services in the area may be delayed due to rolling road closures for the cyclists, but the only buses we should have to divert are the ones listed above.

General information for services going through Market Weighton, and Service 18: The cyclists go through Market Weighton and along part of the Service 18 route, so buses in this area may get caught by the rolling road closures, causing delays. However, buses are not expected to be diverted in this area.

PARK AND RIDE

East Riding Council is providing Park and Ride facilities from Morrisons and from Bishop Burton College. These buses will NOT be picking up along their route (according to ERYC).
