Ales from micro breweries across Yorkshire can be supped at the The Star Inn at Weaverthorpe’s first beer festival, taking place over August Bank Holiday weekend (August 22, 23 and 24).
Cask ales and lagers from the likes of Wold Top and Brass Castle will be served along side flavoured ciders, such as rhubarb and toffee apple, from £2.50 a pint.
Live music, a bouncy castle and a barbecue will also take place in the pub’s beer garden
Will Marchant, landlord, said: “This is our biggest summer event yet and we hope people will come out to try some fantastic beers, tuck into our fantastic food and enjoy the family friendly atmosphere.”
The event will take place on Friday, 5pm to 11.30pm, Saturday 12 to 11.30pm and Sunday 12 to 8pm.
The pub’s fantastic food, including its gourmet burgers, will be served all weekend.
